Lovi Poe, Yasmien Kurdi face off

As the first TV serialization of the Carlo J. Caparas classic "Bakekang" featuring Sunshine Dizon in the title role, is drawing to an explosive close, viewers will bear witness to the intensifying competition for showbiz dominance between Kristal (Lovi Poe) and Charming (Yasmien Kurdi).
Bakekang, who thought she had lost her daughters and yet finds them but in this tormenting situation, the question now is will she allow herself to become a helpless spectator?
Bakekang has withstood the most tormenting situations a mother could ever go through. She once saw both daughters drowning at sea and was left with the crucial choice to save only one. With that, will she ever regain the trust and love of her two daughters?
So much had changed. The once ugly and neglected Charming is now a beautiful lass who is popularly known as Karisma, all because the vengeful and scheming Valeria (Sheryl Cruz) gifted her with a lovely face but poisoned her once forgiving heart and unassuming mind with contempt, hate and the ultimate desire to retaliate against her own mother.
Despite her love for her sister, Kristal has decided to meet Karisma head-on if only to eclipse the latter’s arrogance and cruelty. Kristal takes on the challenge to battle it out with Karisma in a grand showdown of talent.
Will this much talked-about showdown finally determine who is the better performer between Kristal and Karisma? Where will Bakekang stand amidst her two daughters’ rivalry? Will she ever reconcile her daughters or will she again lose one or both of them?
This time, death looms ever so closely in the TV series’ explosive finale.
Who among Bakekang’s major characters will face a bloody end? Will justice ever be served or will death stand in the way of a happy ending for Bakekang and her daughters?
Bakekang’s heart-stopping finale week airs March 26-30 after Super Twins on GMA.
