Red-hot Iya fires up her career even more under the Sun!

She's been a pretty face in showbiz for quite some time now, but what made us stop and stare at this beautiful lass is her lovable Aussie twang, including when she unintentionally morphed a simple hello into the now famous "haller" on national TV. Today, this twisted word has reached pop culture level. Indeed, young star Iya Villania has a way of making people stop, turn and listen.

At 20, Iya is having the time of her life in the Philippines where she was born of Filipino parents. She grew up in Sydney, Australia but as fate would have it, a vacation to her birthplace turned out to be a life-changing move. Tall and tan and young and lovely as the song goes, she is definitely showbiz material and soon found herself famous. Her latest claim to fame is being the new celebrity endorser of Sun Cellular.

The endorsement seals her charm and convincing power to young people. Iya is able to successfully connect with the network's target market with her upbeat print ads and of course, her funny TV commercial where she gets to beat a "manananggal" armed with her cellular phone loaded with Sun Cellular Text Unlimited with Free Voice Calls.

Iya had a blast in doing her latest commercial. "The TV shoot was definitely a different experience with its one-of-a-kind concept. A lot of fun though! So much fun that before I knew it, we were shooting the last frame."

Iya is busy juggling her time between her studies and career. Take this: on TV, she hosts the celebrity dance show, "U Can Dance," co-hosts the Sunday variety "ASAP" and a girl-zine "US Girls," and video jocks her way on MYX music channel. On the big screen, Iya recently starred in a hit teen horror flick "Pamahiin," where she got good reviews for her acting. On stage, she got to show her craft in singing, dancing and acting - live! in the musical "Footloose."

With such a hectic schedule, Iya is not a bit complaining. "I came here (Philippines) not planning to do anything that I'm doing right now, except sing. But fortunately I've been given great opportunities so I'm gonna continue doing my best and learning new things to improve my craft," she says. And with her core family in Australia, Iya sees her busy schedule as a blessing. "I miss them so much that I prefer to keep myself busy with work. I don't gimmick, though I like to catch up with friends which is hard because of the little free time that I have."

With her killer schedule, it is amazing how Iya pulls it off together. "Time management. Everything must be scheduled," she declares. Good thing, Iya is not only gifted with beauty and talent, she also has a knack for spotting great deals to add fun and zest to her demanding schedule. That is why, when Sun Cellular asked her to become the new endorser for Prepaid, she was very happy and excited. "Not only do I believe in the product but I trust the people behind Sun Cellular. I didn't have to stop and think, as it was a privilege in itself to be asked to endorse Sun," she explains.

Sun Cellular and Iya are indeed a match. Her personality and lifestyle perfectly jive with the range of irresistible deals from Sun Cellular Prepaid. As a busy student cum celebrity, her cellular phone is very important to her. In fact, she confessed to being a savvy texter."Yes, I text a lot. It's the easiest and cheapest way to keep in contact with people. With Sun Cellular, I can now text all of them ALL THE TIME without spending too much."

Being a hard worker, she knows the value of money and is aware at how much connecting with her loved ones and getting in touch with her career contacts can cost. Before, she was conscious of how much she spends for her phone bills. But with Sun Cellular, Iya knows she has a choice. "I used to just send text messages because it's cheaper but with Sun Cellular, not only do I send as many texts as I want to others in the Sun network, I can also call all I want!"

Personally, Iya herself benefits so much from using her Sun phone. "With the many people I need to contact and with my mom who needs to know where I am all the time, being able to make unlimited texting and free calls is very convenient and such a time and money saver for me. Most importantly, my mom doesn't stress out on me as much," she shares. "If you want to save money and time, you should switch to Sun. You'll be doing your friends, family especially your mom and dad, and yourself a favor," she urges on. Catch more of Iya as she makes wave on print and TV as the new celebrity endorser for Sun Cellular.
