Sinulog Pop Fiesta features homecoming of Cueshé
January 11, 2006 | 12:00am
After scoring it big in Metro Manila, Cueshe shares their triumph with fellow Cebuanos in a homecoming concert tonight at the Cebu City Sports Complex, beginning 7pm. The Cueshe performances is the main highlight of the Sinulog Pop Fiesta, the show that kicks off a series of concerts sponsored by RMN Networks (DYHP-AM and I-FM Cebu) and Unilever Philippines's Sunsilk Soft Touch, Cream Silk Conditioners, Close Up Toothpaste, and Lady's Choice to be held during major festivals throughout the country.
Jay Justiniani (Vocals); Ruben Caballero (Vocals, Guitar); Jovan Mabini (Lead Guitar); Fritz Labrado (Bass Guitar/Composer); Mike Manaloto (Drums/Composer) and Jhunjie Dosdos (Keyboard) promise to pack spirit and spunk into their first major concert in their hometown, following a successful show at the Music Museum. They will be performing 15 songs including the hits from their debut album under Sony-BMG Music Entertainment dubbed, "Half Empty, Half Full."
When the group was launched last year, they sent ripples of excitement across the music scene with consecutive release of sensational singles such as Stay, Sorry and Ulan. The latter's strong grip on the top spot of the charts catapulted "Half Empty, Half Full" to platinum status. Thus, Cueshé becomes the first ever Cebuano band to ever command this level of popularity in the country.
To get a free ticket and catch them live tonight, just present any combination of empty sachets or bottle of any variant of Creamsilk, Sunsilk or empty cartons of Close Up or any label of Lady's Choice worth P50.
Exchange your valid proof of purchase of Unilever products at i-FM/DYHP-AM at the 2nd Floor, Gold Palace Bldg., 168 Osmeña Blvd., or at the redemption booths found in the leading supermarkets in Cebu City.
Cueshé will also be doing motorcades and store visits at leading supermarkets before the concert.
Performances from Fil-Canadian R&B group 604 of "SOP" and Erik Santos, Rachelle Ann Go and Mark Bautista of "ASAP '05" also form part of the Sinulog Pop Fiesta, a truly exciting gathering of Kapamilya and Kapuso artists.
