Ever keeping the torch flaming to light up screens, Columbia Pictures proudly announces its powerhouse movie lineup for 2006. From veritable movie events ("The Da Vinci Code") to potential Oscar contenders ("Memoirs of a Geisha") to high-octane action-thrillers ("Ghost Rider," "Casino Royale"), to crowd-pleasing comedies ("Fun With Dick and Jane," "Click"), Columbia's roster of films is sure to ignite movie-going all year-round.

"The Da Vinci Code." The film version of Dan Brown's phenomenal bestseller, one of the most popular and talked about novels of our time. Starring Tom Hanks, the thriller begins with a spectacular murder in the Louvre Museum, and all clues point to a covert religious organization that will stop at nothing to protect a secret that threatens to overturn 2,000 years of accepted dogma.

"Ghost Rider." In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) sells his soul to Mephistopheles. Years later, Johnny's path crosses again with Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if he becomes the fabled, fiery Ghost Rider, a supernatural agent of vengeance and justice.

"Casino Royale." British actor Daniel Craig takes over the role of the legendary secret agent, James Bond, in the highly anticipated 007 action adventure.

"Fun with Dick and Jane." When the company Dick (Jim Carrey) works for becomes involved in a scandal and he is confronted with the prospect of losing everything, he and his wife (Tea Leoni) are forced to bag, borrow and steal to get it all back.

"Zathura: A Space Adventure." Based on the book by children's author Chris Van Allsburg, this sci-fi family film is the story of two young brothers who are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is magically hurtled through outer space.

"Memoirs of a Geisha." This sweeping romantic epic begins in the years before WWII when a penniless Japanese child is torn from her family to work as a maid in a geisha house. Despite a treacherous rival who nearly breaks her spirit, the girl blossoms into the legendary geisha Sayuri (Zhang Ziyi).

"Yours, Mine & Ours." Frank (Dennis Quaid) and Helen (Rene Russo) tie the knot… but with 18 children between them trying to sabotage the marriage, they discover that marriages - and families - can't be built in a day.

"Hostel." In this Quentin Tarantino-produced thriller, three backpackers (led by Jay Hernandez) head to a Slovakian city that promises to meet their hedonistic expectations, with no idea of the hell that awaits them.

"All the King's Men." Absolute power corrupts absolutely this political thriller that charts the spectacular rise and fall of a charismatic politician (Sean Penn). Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Mark Ruffalo complete the cast.

"Freedomland." A bruised and bloodied white woman (Julianne Moore) stumbles into an emergency room, claiming that a black man stole her car with her four-year-old son in the backseat. As the search for the alleged carjacker intensifies, smoldering racial tensions between the black and white communities threaten to explode.

"The Benchwarmers." Three guys (Rob Schneider, David Spade, Jon Heder) try to make up for their lack of athleticism when they were younger by forming a three-man baseball team to challenge a full squad of elementary school baseballers.

"Catch and Release." In this romantic comedy, Jennifer Garner plays a woman facing the sudden death of her husband and the secrets he kept from her.

"Monster House." This computer animated feature is an exciting and hilarious thrill-ride tale about three kids who must do battle with a mysterious home that is determined to eat every Trick-or-Treater in sight on Halloween.

"Click." A workaholic architect (Adam Sandler) finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

"The Return of Zoom." An out-of-shape former superhero (Tim Allen) is reluctantly called back into action to turn a ragtag group of kids into a new generation of superheroes to save the world from destruction.

"Open Season." A deer (voiced by Ashton Kutcher) buddies up with a domesticated grizzly bear (voiced by Martin Lawrence) when the two animals are alone in the woods during hunting season. It's up to the duo to rally all the other forest animals and turn the tables on the hunters.

"When a Stranger Calls." A remake of the 1979 cult horror film about a high school student traumatized while babysitting by a caller who repeatedly asks, "Have you checked the children lately?"

"RV." This family comedy follows a man (Robin Williams) and his dysfunctional family when they rent an RV and head for the Rockies, ending up in a campground community.

"The Gridiron Gang." A comedy that tells the uplifting story of detention camp probation officer (The Rock) who creates a high-school-level football team from a ragtag group of dangerous teenage inmates.

"High, Wide and Handsome." An action comedy set at the renowned Talladega Superspeedway racing track with Will Ferrell playing a top Nascar driver.

"The Producers." Max (Nathan Lane) and Leo (Matthew Broderick) hit upon the perfect plan to make a fortune on Broadway. Theorizing that many producers get rich by raising outside capital to finance expensive shows and walk away with huge fees even if the show flops, Max and Leo set out to find the perfect material to burn their backers and get rich.
