Club FH Cebu, another face of entertainment and partying
July 30, 2005 | 12:00am
The cityscape is dotted with fabulous entertainment nightspots. But most of them are playing the same type of music, dampening the partying mood of every party freak.
Are you a big fan of Ibiza music? Or do you wanna burn a fever with the high temperature Latino beats? Here's a different place pulsating with European type of sounds aside from the usual live band performance - Club FH Cebu.
The newest addition to Cebu's roster of nightlife junctions, Club FH Cebu stands unique for various reasons. For one, it is the only fashion disco club that highlights Showgirls on Sundays to Tuesdays, Latino Music on Wednesdays, live band performances on Thursdays and Fridays and Ibiza Fever and DJ Mix on Saturdays.
A brainchild of international DJ Frederick Henry Saurat, Club FH Cebu aims to roll into one place the spirit of Paris, Barcelona and London when it comes to nighttime entertainment and partying.
As the first-ever fashion party place in town, "I want to be near the Cebu fashion community. The place will be more like what you see at fashion televisions," Frederick enthused in his distinct French accent.
Of course, partying wouldn't be as fun if the place hadn't acquired an excellent sound system set-up. Using state-of-the art sound equipment, music will be blasting the night away in this 350-person capacity hip party place.
"My good friend and renowned DJ David Guetta will be sending me his new remixes every two weeks and I get to play his pieces here," shared the towering hunk-owner.
And to gas up the party mood, local and premium wines and liquors plus a variety of finger foods are available.
Plans for expansion are already in the drawing board for the then named Club Fire House. Frederick will soon put up a second floor, which will house a bigger VIP lounge and game zone. And why retain the name Club FH? "The name is something close to my heart. For one, the initials FH stands for my name," he said. Helping Frederick manage Club FH is general manager Milie Joring who has been in the restaurant industry for sometime already.
Now if you feel like movin', bumpin' and grindin' into the European rhythms and party style, hit your wheels and head to Cecilia Building along Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City and look for the signage that's marked in red and black. An entertainment statement of the first Fashion Disco Club in town that is Club FH Cebu!
Check out the sizzling party scene of Club FH Cebu (311 Cecilia Bldg., Osmeña Blvd., ex Jones Ave. opposite Harrison Park) tonight!
