CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano businessman-sportsman Mark Philip Geniston relishes what has been a remarkable sports journey for him in 2024.

In a year to remember, Geniston saw action in a TWM Olympic distance triathlon and in an Ironman 70.3 race for the first time.

Additionally, he completed his first full marathon in the Cebu City Marathon with a time of five hours and three minutes.

The CEO of Kevlo Skin Clinic followed it up with a highly successful run in the Sydney Marathon and New York Marathon where he clocked in 4:22 and 4:15, respectively.

Geniston capped his impressive showing with his first podium finish that earned him a bronze medal at the Cebu Landmasters Run.

“I want to express heartfelt thanks to those who fueled my journey, coach Jeffrey Cola and Arvin Loberanis for their expert guidance, my incredible wife for her unconditional support, and God for giving me unrelenting strength,” said Geniston.

The established multisport racer now looks forward to the new year with zest and enthusiasm especially that he has already signed up for the Ironman 70.3 New Zealand and two major marathons in Sydney and Chicago.

“Here’s to 2025! Three international races, one mindset:me vs me,” Geniston ended. — (FREEMAN)
