CEBU, Philippines — Capitalizing on the expected economic upswing in the western part of Cebu province, PrimaryHomes has unveiled its latest venture—an expansive 11-hectare residential subdivision Richwood Homes in Toledo City.

This prime development will also be the location of the company’s future developments such as Royal Palms Toledo and La Prima Homes Toledo.

The city's strategic location, merely 50 kilometers from Cebu City and accessible via the Naga-Uling Road, positions Toledo City as a prime choice for homebuyers—boasting easy connections to the Northern and Southern parts of Cebu, along with a gateway port to Negros Island, Toledo City offers unparalleled convenience.

With over 200,000 residents, Toledo is the fourth most affluent city in the Central Visayas Region. Its rich history and vibrant economy, driven by mining, power, and port industries, makes it a thriving hub for residential, industrial, and commercial real estate.

Under the banner of "Quality Homes Made Affordable," Richwood Homes Series echoes PrimaryHomes' commitment to harmoniously blend affordability and quality.

Drawing from a robust three-decade track record, the PrimaryHomes Toledo Project once again commits to its exceptional workmanship, exemplifying the brand's commitment to "Tatak Primary, Tatak Quality."

The project embraces modern, green building technology through the Primary Engineered Building Systems, ensuring cost-effective, time-efficient, and top-quality, sustainable construction. This eco-friendly approach, also utilized in PrimaryHomes' condominium developments, prioritizes thermal insulation for enhanced comfort and energy efficiency.

Beyond construction, PrimaryHomes takes pride in its dependable Property Management team, ensuring the continued upkeep of every community and safeguarding homeowners' experiences.

The development, which is targeted for turnover by the second quarter of 2026, features 695 contemporary designed houses, setting a new standard for urban living. The integrated community offers a variety of options, including 50 sqm 2-storey, finished duplex, and bare townhouse units, each meticulously designed for functionality and efficiency.

Residents will enjoy many community-centric amenities, from a multi-purpose hall and view deck to a basketball court, play areas, recreational spaces, selected landscape areas, and a secure entrance with a guard house.

Geared towards middle-income families and individuals seeking quality homes at reasonable prices, Richwood Homes Toledo also presents flexible financing options.

During the early selling period, buyers can benefit from extended terms for equity payment, with the remaining amount financeable through bank and Pag-IBIG financing.

With the potential for substantial escalation of property value, Richwood Homes Toledo also aims for a quality living experience but also offers an attractive investment opportunity amidst the growing demand for quality housing in Toledo City.

Earlier, Cebu Investments Development Concierge Center (CIDCC) chairman Jay Yuvallos affirmed that the western part of Cebu particularly Balamban, Toledo City and neighboring municipalities are regarded as an emerging economic powerhouse that lures investments from both local and foreign businesses.

Yuvallos mentioned that the proposed relocation of the Cebu Provincial Capitol from Cebu City to Balamban as the driver to pull up interest for investments, employment, and robust economic activities within the area.

Yuvallos said the economic impact will span across all industries, distributing wealth and services evenly province-wide.

“It will unlock various economic opportunities in sectors such as tourism. If the

COVID-19 pandemic did not happen, trade and tourism in that area would have already grown,” Yuvallos noted.

“Tourism in the west side of Cebu is beautiful and its spots are waiting to be explored,” he added.

Toledo City is known for being a key location for mining groups in the country.

The provincial government is also working to address issues within Cebu to aid in the relocation of the capitol. One such issue is flooding, with the government allocating P8 billion for a drainage master plan.
