Robinsons hotel group launches booking platform
CEBU, Philippines — Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) is taking the “revenge travel” phenomenon as a serious business, as it introduced its group-wide flexible, advanced, and revolutionary booking platform.
Dubbed GO,GO,GO – GO 24/7, GO 365, and GO buy online – each uniquely designed to provide guests with greater convenience and personalized experience, RHR group director of sales and marketing led the press launching of the campaign in Cebu held at the Summit Galleria Hotel, Cebu, said Joy de Mesa, Group Director of Sales and Marketing of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts.
“Our homegrown brands Go and Summit hotels, even during the pandemic have been providing a genuine brand of Filipino hospitality. This time, we would like to elevate this further by providing ease for the market who are so eager now to travel around the Philippines,” de Mesa explained.
“Revenge Travel” has been the trending term since 2022. Everyone is taking every chance they get to release their frustrations about canceled plans and trips because of the restrictive Covid-19 pandemic, she added.
With this uptrend in travel, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts has chosen to empower its guests by breaking the boundaries of the traditional hotel stay period of the usual 2 pm to 4 pm check-in schedule through its GO 24/7 signature offer.
Starting 3.2.23 or March 2, 2023, vacationers and business travelers are now able to check in any time of the day and stay within a 24-hour period nationwide. This offers a customizable itinerary for everyone who would want to maximize their schedules and activities.
The hassle-free booking will initially be available in seven strategic Go Hotels properties namely: Dumaguete, Iloilo, Lanang-Davao, Mandaluyong, Otis-Manila, Puerto Princesa and Tacloban, for as low as Php1,600++.
This offer is valid for stays booked 72 hours prior check-in date. Guests will have to declare their check-in time during booking and may only be allowed to make changes by calling the booked hotel 48 hours prior to the check-in date, free of charge. If cancellation is made within 48 hours prior to the check-in date or the guest is a no-show, the first night shall be charged to the guest.
To guarantee the booking, guests are required to pre-pay. Non-guaranteed reservations will only be held within a 24-hour period, otherwise, they will automatically be released.
“We may be the first to introduce this in the hospitality industry in the country, wherein guests can check in as soon as they arrive at the hotel, any time of the day without additional charge. This ensures a hassle-free experience allowing them to #GoExploreMore,” added Nonito Cuizon, Marketing Director of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts.
GO 24/7 is bookable through direct e-mails, direct calls, and in the Go Hotels booking engine.
Meanwhile, for guests who like to plan ahead, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts has extended its booking availability from 15 days up to 365 days in advance of stay dates with a 10 percent discount off the best available rate. Pre-payment is required to guarantee a reservation.
With Go 365 guests can secure their preferred room type, activities, and other arrangements for their staycation. “Best tip is to pair these with your periodic promo flights, paid leaves, and planned events, ensuring peace of mind knowing that a comfortable and safe stay is secured in advance,” Cuizon suggested.
Available in all Go Hotels, Go Hotels Plus, Summit Hotels, and Grand Summit Hotels GO 365 is bookable only through the website.
With the ease of messaging apps, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts will soon offer the messaging or chat option for guests to purchase online vouchers and bookings.
Sneak peeks at to GO BUY ONLINE option enables guests to book and purchase via a unique chatbot and online boutique. This mobile feature optimizes the guests’ experience to explore the different packages and choose the one that best suits their preferences from a simple private message sent.
“We are excited to offer our guests nationwide the GOGOGO campaign as part of our continued commitment to providing an exceptional RHR experience” noted De Mesa.
