Southern Samar HS batch 1979 to hold 40th year reunion on April 2019

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — The Southern Samar Agricultural College (SSAC) high school batch 1979 will hold their first reunion on April 27, next year on its 40th year celebration.

Lydio Naputo, one of the organizers of the reunion, said the SSAC batch '79 organizing committee has already conducted a preliminary meeting at the 8 Waves Waterpark & Hotel in San Rafael, Baliuag, Bulacan last June 15 and plans were out for the event.  

The meeting was also a pledging session from the members for whatever contribution they can share for the milestone reunion, said Naputo.

The group has created the “SSAC high school batch 1979 messenger account” in Facebook to inform and reach out to the members of the batch who are now residing in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and abroad, Naputo said as he is now urging batchmates to join the account in FB for updates of the coming event.

Naputo is urging the members of the batch to reach out to the messenger account in Facebook for updates, and inform the others about this grand event, 40 years after they graduated in high school at SSAC in Salcedo town of Eastern Samar. — Primo A. Cayubit
