Filinvest appoints new GM

CEBU, Philippines - Filinvest Land Inc. has appointed a new general manager to oversee the company’s growing presence in Cebu and the rest of the Visayas area.

Engr. Allan G. Alfon, a native Cebuano, is a business development expert with 25 years under his belt. He has been designated as the new area general manager for Filinvest Cebu and Visayas operations.

He will also take on the role as vice president for business strategic planning in the Visayas and Mindanao.

“Aside from overseeing the overall operations of the Cebu branch and the project developments, Allan will oversee the business development aspect and spearhead the expansion of Filinvest’s strategic land banking efforts,” said Filinvest First Vice President Tristan Las Marias for Visayas and Mindanao.

Alfon is a licensed civil engineer and has completed a management development program at the Asian Institute of Management.

He has an extensive experience in the industries of real estate, the petroleum downstream sector, fast food and business process outsourcing hubs and economic zones.

He will be keeping tab on the various Filinvest Cebu projects, including the Grand Cenia Residences condotel project; the 50-hectare seaside residential community Citta de Mare (City by the Sea) at South Road Properties; the 3-hectare One Oasis, an exclusive, resort-style, midrise condo Community in Kasambagan; and the gated communities of Aldea del Sol and Escala at Corona del Mar.
