Tune Hotel Cebu brings joy to kids affected by Yolanda

CEBU, Philippines - Tune Hotel Cebu, along with other Tune Hotels in the Philippines and other countries managed by Red Planet Hotels Corporation,  simultaneously held an event with the common theme “We care for the children” last Nov. 20.

The hotel and its team members provided gifts such as educational toys, books, slippers, school supplies and other items to help and make a difference in the lives of these children.  

Every year, Tune Hotels in the Philippines hold two events to give back to the communities they are a part of.   This year, Tune Hotel Cebu visited the day care children of Barangay Pansoy Sogod, an uphill barangay located 67 kms away from Cebu city that was among those badly hit by super typhoon Yolanda. 

The hotel team arranged a special program for the children that included parlor games and storytelling activity.  While the children were having fun with the games, gifts and food, a medical team headed by Dr. Melanie Hamoy-Dy conducted a medical mission which was  participated by the children, some adults and elderlies of the community.The medical team gave out hundreds of medicines and vitamins needed by those affected by the typhoon.  It was a heartwarming experience for everybody to spend this unforgettable day with the children and the community.
