New priest for Pedro Calungsod parish
CEBU, Philippines - The San Pedro Calungsod parish in Barangay Cantabaco, Toledo City, has a new parish priest — Rev. Fr. Teotimo A. Pepito, Jr., previously the parish priest of Tindog, Medellin, Cebu.
Fr. Pepito succeeds Fr. Russel M. Sungcad who is now assigned in San Antonio Abad Parish in Putat, Tuburan, Cebu.
Rev. Fr. Tim Pepito, Jr. was installed as the new parish priest by Msgr. Rolando Manayon during the Holy Mass upon his arrival in Cantabaco last Nov. 22, 2013.
The installation rites were attended by Msgr. Isidro Ulliamot of San Vicente Parish (Bogo), Rev. Fr. Rey Resaba of San Vicente Ferrer Parish (Bato, Toledo), Fr. Russel Sungcad, and Fr. Mike Hisoler of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish (Pardo, Cebu City).
The parishioners of San Pedro Calungsod Parish, established in 2005, welcomed with enthusiasm Fr. Pepito with a promise of their full support and cooperation. (FREEMAN)
