CEBU, Philippines - New health and wellness entrant Dental Hub is banking on the growing awareness on promoting the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene in its bid to take a chunk of Cebu's discriminating market.

Cebuanos, according to Dental Hub's owners, have sharp "sight, taste and sense" for products and services that have value for money proposition. Because their clinic operates under this belief, then they consider this as their edge over other dental clinics in town.

"Everyone must be able to practice dental care for a healthier, more confident, self-satisfying, and competitive individual. We aim to meet our customer satisfaction through good quality services intended to answer the growing needs of dental problems," said Dental Hub co-owner Dr. Rachel Elisha O. Acla.

Acla, in an interview during the recent grand opening and inauguration of Dental Hub, said they had to come up with "the friendliest environment to our patients for a better and more effective communication and personalized human relations."

In order to hit this target, Acla said they have equipped the clinic with the latest facilities for "a more productive, more convenient and safest clinical operations."

Dental Hub is located at Doña Carmen Building, Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue, Banilad, Cebu City.

Acla said their clinic caters dental services in periodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, restorative treatment, prosthodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry and dental implants.

In addition, she noted that they also offer the customized mouthguard and the customized athletic mouthguard as well as the impressive teeth whitening treatment, which can be achieved in an hour.

Recently, they have also learned to apply a lingual technique orthodontics and invisalign (invisible braces), which is addressed to adolescents and adults up to 60 years old.

According to Acla, the greatest advantage of this technique is its superior aesthetics or an excellent comfort for the patients seeking maximum aesthetics, shorter treatment time, sanitary, no speech problem to arise and easy clinical management.

"Our clinic value high standard of dental care, by then, we could guarantee that the technologies and equipment used are new, clean, safe and is equipped with the latest state of the art and modern hygienic facilities that offer comfort and convenience to our patients and dentists," said Dental Hub co-owner Dr. Mae Michelle Jorgio.

"What serves as another advantage is the schedule of our dentists, from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 p.m., allowing the clinic to be open 10 hours a day. No hurries and less hassle. We entertain walk-in patients and online appointments," Jorgio added.

The clinic also boasts of  new, clean and in durable material equipment. The dental chairs, owners said, come in different colors for a more catchy and entertaining invitation. Each treatment area is also equipped with a television for entertainment.

"To give patients the best treatment possible, the clinic is equipped with an X-ray and an intraoral camera. Root canal treatments are faster with the use of clinical microscopy and rotary instruments," owners said in a press release.

Likewise, the clinic also caters vacuum forming machine for a speedy athletic guard fabrication, as well as a pediatric room with a jungle mural to make child patients feel at ease.

Aside from Acla and Jorgio, the dental clinic is also co-owned by Dr. Charleston Jorgio and Michael Ng, who handles the business' marketing and management aspects. (FREEMAN)
