PCSO launches Bingo Milyonaryo

CEBU, Philippines - With the on-the-rise phenomenon of mobile technology,  Philippine  Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) keeps up with the digital era as it recently introduced an innovative and convenient way of playing bingo games without having to visit a retail outlet.

Earlier, PCSO announced the launch of the Bingo Milyonaryo, a new game that offers a player five different ways of winning in a single draw.

It requires a minimum ticket price of only five pesos per combination and a chance of winning all the prizes including the jackpot prizes.

For an expedient way of playing the game, PCSO then introduced a new Android application by LottoCellin which players need not to visit a retail outlet but use their Android mobile device on WiFi or 3G Internet instead.

According to PCSO Chairman  Margarita Juico,  the new mobile application creates a convenient environment of playing games without the hassle of lining up in the outlets.

"LottoCell brings PCSO games into the mobile and digital age," she said in the company's latest statement.

Unlike the traditional approach, transactions are cashless and are facilitated through the LottoCell virtual wallets that can be loaded using GCASH.

Juico added that since it is using the mobile wallet service of Globe Telecom, players of PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo are assured of safety and security since the LottoCell app does not require them to have actual, physical cash.

Further, the mobile application allows players of PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo to review their transactions for the past seven days and view draw results from their devices.

The Bingo Milyonaryo game is part of the revenue-generating strategies of the current PCSO Board. It was developed to increase the charity fund of the agency in extending medical and healthcare assistance to Filipinos nationwide.
