STC Batch ‘89 holds fund-raising run

CEBU, Philippines - A day of fitness, fun and camaraderie are in store for all running enthusiasts when they join the “Run With Venus,”  a marathon fund-raising activity organized by the Alumni of St. Theresa’s College High School Batch 1989 as part of their ongoing celebration for their upcoming 25th year jubilee on 2014.

Aside from the marathon event which will be held on Sunday, July 7 at 4:30 a.m., participants will also enjoy free health consultations on anemia, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, bone density/osteoporosis screening, fitness assessment and sports injury. Several sponsors from the beauty, health and wellness industry are also participating.

Surprises and giveaways await the runners plus a one of a kind Zumba  Party with the Cebu Zumba Dance Crew  will keep everyone upbeat after the run.

Registration is now on at Repro Optima Center between Joven’s Grill and Red Cross, Osmeña Blvd. Capitol, Bricks at J. Center Mall, and Runnrs shop at Ayala Center.

Proceeds from the activity will benefit the STC HS89 outreach programs specially the sponsorship of underprivileged Special Education students of the Bahay Kalinga, and Batch ‘89’s  silver jubilee homecoming activity in 2014. (FREEMAN)
