Durano clan reunion May 26

CEBU, Philippines - The Durano Kaliwat in America and the Durano clan of the Philippines will have another year of bonding togetherness on May 26  in Danao City.

The two-day affair starts on Saturday, May 25 with a city tour of Danao City and windsdown at the  Durano Eco Farm and Resort in Barangay Corte, Carmen,  Cebu.  The following day, Sunday, the activities start with a registration at 8:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 9:30 at the Danao Civic Center.  There will be day-long activities with the Durano families from around the Philippines and abroad.

The reunion was first started by the Durano Kaliwat group in California and Oregon in the summer of 1978, with subsequent reunions in various locations:  Oregon, Las Vegas, Washington and other places in the United States.  The tradition expanded with the holding of the first Durano reunion in Danao City in  2005, 2008, and this year 2013.
