Gullas Hospital launches special package for working women
CEBU, Philippines - In commemoration of the birthday today of the matriarch of the University of the Visayas, Dona Josefina “Inday Pining†Gullas, together with the celebration of International Women’s Day this month, Vicente Gullas Memorial Hospital launches today a program called, “Everyday a Package Day.â€
The Administrator and the Medical Director saw the need to expand the hospital services to working women in their reproductive years. In addition, the Medical Director and the OB-Gyne Chairman, both having retained companies saw the difficulty of working women to avail of health care services during regular working hours.
Thus, “Everyday a Package Day†is conceived. The program is offered 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday. Services offered in this program includes normal and caesarian section deliveries, screening for cancer and sexually transmitted diseases, benign and cancerous growth and other women’s diseases at a reasonable rate.
With its team of Junior Consultants, who are all graduates of an accredited training program in OB-Gyne, and OB-Gyne Consultants (Active & Visiting) who are on call, the administration is confident that Vicente Gullas Memorial Hospital can go an extra mile in serving the health care needs of working women.
