Primary Homes brokers undergo seminar on land titling

CEBU, Philippines - Accredited real estate brokers of Primary Homes, Inc. (PHI) underwent a seminar on “Land Titling Made Easy.”

The seminar was conducted by Atty. Manolo D. Rubi, Registrar of Deeds of the Province of Cebu.

Rubi shared his knowledge and experience on land titling during PHI’s regular Kapihan.

Rubi focused his seminar on the electronic land titling, a computerization project of the Land Registry Authority (LRA).

According to Rubi, the electronic land titles are stored in a database which makes it easily accessible to the public.

He said the digitized titles are also protected from wear-and-tear and natural disasters.

Atty. Rubi also pointed out that the LRA is working on a service to make land titles accessible online so it can be viewed anytime and anywhere.

With the implementation of the electronic land titling and the upcoming plan to make land titles available online, the Registry of Deeds is making land titling easier for the public.

The Kapihan is held monthly and only available to accredited brokers of PHI.

It is a service provided by PHI to its broker to equip them with the knowledge on the latest trends in real estate.

It also allows them to be updated on PHI’s latest developments and the incentives offered to its top-performing brokers. (FREEMAN)
