Mövenpick Cebu spends last day with school kids

- The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - Mövenpick Resort & Spa Cebu is to be completely transformed by a lavish renovation with new facilities and services that will bring the resort to a fresh and truly upscale 5-star experience.

The intensive work will start on July 15 and continue for five months. During that period the hotel will temporarily suspend operations before re-opening on December 15.

During the hotel’s last day of operations, they gave back to the community by opening their doors to the grade school children of Punta Engaño Elementary School. The hotel aims to bring the brand closer to the society through local projects. One of the resort’s projects is to sponsor a group of school children to enjoy a day at the hotel with their loved ones. The junior guests had a grand time swimming, relaxing by the pool, munching on delicious afternoon snacks and winning exciting prizes. Each child took home a loot bag filled with school supplies and tokens.

The activity was headed by Mövenpick Resort & Spa Cebu’s General Manager Knuth Kiefer, the Sales & Marketing team and department heads of the Hotel. (FREEMAN)
