BHW sector to push wellness to build a healthy workforce

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu will not only showcase what products and services it can offer in the beauty, health and wellness (BHW) sector, but it is making a step higher, by utilizing wellness to build a strong human infrastructure.

This year’s 7th Beauty, Health and Wellness (BHW Show), which will be part of the Cebu Business Month (CBM 2012) month-long celebration this June, aims to broaden the public’s understanding of total wellness in order to provide holistic foundation of Cebu’s growth, said BHW Show 2012 over-all chairman Michael Basubas.

In an interview with Basubas, he said that while Cebu is already known to have the best services in the wellness sector, it has to extend its potential by maximizing wellness to build a healthy pool of human resource, by making wellness as part of every Cebuano’s daily lifestyle.

Thus, activities during the show, which is set on June 1-3 at the Ayala Center Cebu, will include the different kinds of fitness services available in the metropolis, including affordable and quality products available to aid the increasing demand for health-friendly merchandizes and services.

“This year’s BHW Show, offers fun, entertaining and creative information and interactive tools to help consumers build the confidence to make informed decisions to support a healthy lifestyle,” said Basubas.
