Heart Tea franchiser says top priority in biz is health
CEBU, Philippines - Every time we venture on a product, we consider its health benefits, a franchiser said.
Frank Oliva, managing partner of Café Oliva Catering Services and Food Products Company limited, said that as a health–conscious entrepreneur, his top priority in business is health.
With such entrepreneurial principle, he decided to be a franchiser of Heart Tea from Manila, concentrating on its health benefits which is one of Taiwan’s best healthy tea drinks.
“Heart Tea is your health tea drink. Each flavor of our product has a certain health benefit that goes along with it. It’s for everyone from all ages. It is typically safe for kids and adults,” he said.
Having a kiosk located at i1 Building, Asiatown IT Park, Lahug, he further said that Convergys in Banawa and Cebu Doctors’ University are viable, strategic locations for more franchises by the end of May and three more kiosks by June, a total of 5-6 outlets by yearend.
With prices ranging from P50-65 and may vary from add-ons, Oliva added that Heart Tea is also a personalized drink in which buyers can prefer to have add-ons or not, and zero trans-fat milk for milk tea products.
“If there’s something about your drink that you don’t like, our well-trained and customer-oriented staff will replace it with no questions asked,” he said during the Heart Tea’s grand opening.
Considered to be the first outlet in Cebu, he clarified that Heart Tea is not a coffee competitor, but a build-to-go franchise offering drinks that are light on the tongue, palate and stomach.
“The concept is that you can just move around and drink your tea. That’s why it’s just a kiosk. We don’t want people to sit and lounge. The more you move, the more you exercise, the healthier it is,” he said.
Referred as a new drinking brand in the country and the Cebuano market, Oliva noted that Heart Tea’s bestsellers are wintermelon milk tea, basil health drink, coffee konjac milk tea, tapioca milk tea and fruit flavored tea.
