FLI to complement condo project with BPO complex

CEBU, Philippines - As Filinvest Land Inc. topped off its first building in one of its residential clusters at Cebu’s South Road Properties, the proposal of a business process outsourcing complex will complement its residential units and its master-planned condominium development.

Once approved by the City Government, FLI First Vice – President Tristan Las Marias said that the four-building complex with five stories will house BPO companies occupying 40, 000 square meters area for office space, serving as an opportunity investment in response to the growing demand of BPO clients.

Since FLI has an ample experience in BPO building investments in Alabang with six to eight buildings for its BPO clients, he added that developing the complex will add to the optimism and confidence of Cebu in the BPO market.

Expected to be completed by next year, Las Marias revealed that the proposed BPO buildings were not part of the original plan of FLI in its joint venture development project with the city government for Citta de Mare which is a 50.6 hectare development with nine residential condominiums.

As Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama welcomed FLI’s plan, he is optimistic that it could easily bring in 30, 000 job opportunities, accomplishing the real intention of SRP which is to generate employment and to add towards the progress of Cebu.

Meanwhile, Las Marias takes pride, along with other FLI officials, as Citta de Mare offers one of its residential clusters whichis a more affordable option to aspiring condo owners.

Next to Amalfi Oasis that targets the high-end market, San Remo Oasis is a medium-rise condominium community offering a studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units with floor areas ranging from 22 sq m to 45 sq m. and prices from 1.5 to 2.5 million pesos.

This cluster of 5-storey buildings is part of a low-density community with approximately 65% of the property allocated for open spaces and landscaped greens.

With two condo buildings to be completed within the year, he added that by 2013, San Remo will start to accept the first batch of its residents who will enjoy complete living experience with quiet, carless and open space lifestyle.

Inspired with a sea-side concept, he noted that amenities such as swimming pools, water parks, recreation venues, clubhouse, amphitheater, shopping complex and amusement center will enhance the resort ambience.

In its vision to create a residential housing community that would be unique and first of its kind in terms of lifestyle, location and amenities, Las Marias said that Citta de Mare is a community that will make Cebu proud. (FREEMAN)
