BTC bares summer workshop for kids

CEBU, Philippines - When the sun shines bright, high and warmest, children sense summer heading their way. A parents’ usual dilemma, how to keep their children occupied during the school break.

Banilad Town Centre (BTC) encourages learning this summer with workshops and activities that help children grow emotionally and socially in a fun-filled environment that builds lasting friendships and enhanced self-esteem.

Get active with Ballet Academy of Cebu Summer Dance Workshop from April 9 to June 2. The workshop offers diverse dance genres like Hip Hop for girls and boys ages 3 years old; Nursery song ballet for children ages 3 years old; Children’s ballet   for children ages 6 years old; and teen and adult ballet for beginners and advanced classes. Ballet Academy is located at the second floor of the main mall building of Banilad Town Centre.

Get talking in another language at Speedtalk Language Training Center with the Summer Enrichment Program for kids 6-12 years old. Designed to empower youngsters for the future, Speedtalk offers popular programs for kids like Mandarin, Japanese, Fookien (Amoy) and Personality Development. Plus, together with partners who are specialists in their respective fields, Art Workshop, Basic Photography, Bamboo Flute, and Creative Crafts are also available programs. It’s a child’s one-stop-shop this summer in one convenient location. Classes will run from April 16-May 31.

Get cooking with the Lil’Chefs Summer Academy at Banilad Town Center. Classes are open for little foodies from 9-13 years old. Learn to cook New York-style pizza, Krua Thai Pad Thai, Dimsum Break Dumpling, Tabléa Dessert and Breakfast treats with Chef Lor Torres of Academy for International Culinary Arts (AICA). Limited slots only. Classes start April 24 to May 5.
