St.James amusement park to open before Christmas

CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano-owned St. James Amusement Masters Corp. (SJAMC) will open its multi-million peso amusement park before Christmas. The one-hectare St. James Amusement Park is located across Mandaue North Reclamation area, right across Park Mall.

In a press conference recently, SJAMC chief executive officer (CEO) James Abilla said that although the company's initial plan is temporary, he intends to make it a permanent fixture depending on the market's response.

"We are constructing it as if it’s permanent. There is still an economic factor involved in operating it for good. We are still looking at the market to make sure it is the right time to do it," Abilla said.— (FREEMAN)
