Cebuana entrepreneur introduces Thai beauty technology in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - A young Cebuana has ventured into the booming vanity and wellness business by capitalizing on the Thai-technique beauty treatment and body slimming technology.

Platinum Beauty and Slimming Center formally opened yesterday at the SM City Cebu shopping mall, a new addition to Cebu’s wide choices of these kind of services and further pushing Cebu as the premier hub for vanity and wellness.

The Center’s general manager Irene Young said that she is confident that Platinum will gain a positive response from the Cebu market, due to the unique technology and technique employed by Platinum’s services.

Young, whose passion is into beauty and slimming treatment, said that she purposely went to Thailand to study its unique technology and technique for vanity and wellness, which is not being introduced in the Philippines yet.

Young has partnered with a Thai beauty and slimming center owner and known dermatologist in Thailand to help her with the Cebu operation.

Her Thai partner also has seven beauty and slimming centers in Thailand, she said.

Platinum Beauty and Slimming Center, occupies over a 100 square-meter inside the SM Cebu shopping mall that offers 20-bed capacity.

“I have tried almost all facial and beauty treatments here and abroad. I am amazed of Thai’s technique in this area. This is what pushed me to venture into this business here,” Young said in an interview yesterday.

Although, the Center is primarily targeting the A,B and C market segments, Young said being a Cebuana she knows the pulse of the market, wherein affordability and quality should go together.

While the some of its first-of-a-kind machines are expensive, Young said prices are pegged competitively or even more affordable than the existing beauty centers operating here.

All products used in the treatment are natural, and hypo-allergenic, Young said emphasizing that products being used for facial and slimming treatment are proven safe.

Despite the entry of well-known beauty centers in Cebu, Young said she is confident that the Center can establish a reputable name on its own, because of the efficacy of the services and products.

The center uses non-evasive treatment for slimming, lifting, anti-aging, among other beauty treatments.

“The center introduces the latest innovation in non-surgical face lifts as well as slimming treatment. We also provide a fantastic range of beauty treatments that can turn-back the hands of time,” Young stressed.
