CEBU, Philippines - Cebu-based Ng Khai Development Corp. has taken the lead in educating the academe on the latest trends in the information and communications technology to assist them on their ICT needs.
Ng Khai president Wilson Ng said the company is now on its 13th year in conducting the seminar dubbed as “Education Summit 2010.” This year, around 150 people from 70 to 80 schools and universities in the province and from Northern Mindanao participated in the event.
“Every year, the participants are increasing. This has encouraged us to continue with this, which is partly a corporate responsibility and also a marketing strategy,” he told The FREEMAN.
NG Khai’s Education Summit 2010 was held last May 21 at the Laguna Garden Café. The theme was “Building Education: Ideas, Innovation & Inspiration.”
IT presentors such as Intel, IBM, Samsung, Autodesk, HP, Kaspersky, Astaro, APC and Lenovo presented products and solutions that best suit the academe and will help sustain the education sector.
