Coffee break with CCCI - A success!

Staying true to its premise, the inaugural session of the ‘’Coffee Break with CCCI’’, held last March 17, 2010 at the CCCI Boardroom, proved successful in getting in depth with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) members and orienting the viewing public about the services of their company and their views on a slew of topics. Our gracious host-moderator Dr. Mila Espina, ably facilitated a lively and free-wheeling, but definitely substantial, interaction with the guest-panelists and media. The four guests, all members of CCCI expressed pleasure at being featured in this “Kapihan format” and being given the opportunity to bond with fellow members and to touch base with the community.  All of them provided a brief background on their respective companies, their products and services and what motivated them to become CCCI members. Siteworks Phils. Construction, Inc.

Siteworks Philippines Construction, Inc. specializes on interior and technical works in residential homes and condominiums.  They count among their prized clients the Mactan Export Processing Zone, and Citylights. Engr. Jumawan believes that the construction industry in the region will continue to thrive with the emergence of new structural developments.  Despite the challenges, his company is optimistic about its chances of remaining competitive and continuing to offer affordable but quality services in the next 10 years.

Cebu First Vita Plus

Cebu First Vita Plus was initially established as a home-based business in 2005, that eventually required a bigger office when consumer demand began steadily increasing over the past couple of years. Vita Plus products first came out in the market as flavored (dalandan being the most salable) health drinks made out of herbs, like malunggay, ‘’saluyot’’, and ‘’talbos ng kamote’’.   They became so popular that Vita Plus has since branched out to beauty and wellness products, such as soap, shampoo and facial cream. Mr. Cecilio de Leon, the company President, guarantees the high quality of their products, as they are all BFAD and USDA-approved.

Ramos St. (across Kan-Irag Hotel), with satellite branches in SM, Banilad Town Center, Mandaue and Mactan, exclusively serves pets, or now more popularly known as, ‘’companion animals’’. The first of its kind in Cebu, it houses facilities, such as X-ray and ECG, designed just for animals; a pet grooming center, as well as a boarding/day-care center, where they could take care of pets while their owners are away on vacation or business trips.
