Shell fuel economy campaign reaps positive feedback

CEBU, Philippines - After a successful year in 2009 with its fuel economy campaign, Pilipinas Shell, one of the biggest and leading fuel providers in the country is starting 2010 with a big treat for its valued customers.

Stephanie Ann Cua, Pilipinas Shell Brand Manager, shared during an interview with members of the media the positive feedback they had with their campaign in 2009 on fuel economy where they advocated saving fuel and safety in driving.

Cua said that with the positive response of the public, they are optimistic with 2010 and is in fact opening the year with new offers.

She explained the mechanics of their promo wherein they would be giving away prizes like a brand new 2010 Audi IT Coupe and discounts in different Shell stations.

Cua said that with more and more people using the V-power of Shell, more people would also have the chance of winning. An accumulated P500 worth of V-Power refuel entitles a motorist to one sticker. Collecting eight stickers would be equivalent to a special limited edition Shell V-Power cap and a qualification to a raffle draw to win the 2010 Audi IT Coupe.

Cua said that this is their way of giving back to their customers for the support they have had for the past years.

V-Power card holders could also avail of special discount offers in Select and Shell shop items, Shell Helix Service Center packages and Shell Lubes. There they could have up to P100 off on the oil change package, a gallon of Shell Helix Ultra and Helix Plus with P100 off and a liter of Shell Helix Plus, Helix Ultra or any Shell Advance grade are at P20 off.

“Shell V-Power customers also get double the chances of winning in a raffle of bags of rice, kitchen and home appliances, bikes, department store GCs and entertainment showcases. Promo will run until March 19, 2010. There will be three preliminary raffle draws and one major raffle draw.
