CEBU, Philippines - The world’s leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technology, EMC Corporation, through an IDC report, pointed out the different challenges that Philippine business are currently facing and will be encountering in the next two years.
Improving customer service levels remains to be the key challenge for most businesses for the past six months and is seen to linger on within the next two years.
Ronnie Latinazo, Country Manager of EMC Philippines Companies said that companies stress on customer service as a critical component, which could provide enterprises with a competitive advantage and differentiator over other companies.
Latinazo explained that due to this, companies implied that they aim to deploy technology products and services in more innovative and strategic ways. He said that within the Philippines ’ telecoms industry, the challenge now is on which telco can offer the most value-added and creative content in order to expand consumer offerings that provide end-to-end solutions on the go. “As such, telcos require highly available, high performance and secure information infrastructures that are both manageable and efficient.”
Further, Latinazo said that the deployment of technology products and services in more strategic and creative ways will also give the companies the chance to draw out more value from the investments. He said that companies, which make the needed improvements in accordance with its IT infrastructure will be able to use all of its data protection and storage applications capacity.
