Cebu Belmont ventures into real estate business
CEBU, Philippines - Primarily engaged in the manufacturing of industrial tools for the past 36 years, Cebu Belmont Inc. now ventures into the real estate business through Colourfield Land Development Corporation.
Colourfield Land president and chief executive officer (CEO) Chester Lim said, during a recent press briefing, that the growing demand for house and lots in Cebu prompted the company to venture into real estate despite the apparent competition.
“We’d like to be known as a property development company that delivers on good after-sales service,” said Lim who explained that after they sell the house and lots, they will still be looking out for their clients.
Lim said that they will be formally launching the project when they start with the construction of their first development next year. The property will be located in Canduman, Mandaue City.
It will be situated in a three hectare property and will offer house and lots designed based on an Asian theme concept, different from the usual Mediterranean theme used by other developers, said Lim.
Lim said that they invested a substantial amount for the project assuring the best quality of houses made by architects and developers that are experts in the field.
He said that aside from the convenient location, they also have the advantage in terms of materials since they have direct access through their initial business offering industrial tools.
Lim said that this is why they are offering very competitive prices that could be easily availed by their target market, which is the middle market like the Overseas Filipino Workers.
There would be three choices of units for the subdivision from single, duplex to townhouses with all the amenities needed.
Construction for the subdivision would kick off next year and would hopefully be turned-over by the end of next year. A pre-selling will be conducted to give leeway to buyers to choose their preferred models.
Real estate requires huge investment but the advantage they have is that they are already in the supplies industry.
