Why become a Cebu chamber member?

It is a known fact that the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CCCII) is the leading organization, which serves as the Voice of Cebu’s Business Community. It is committed to provide services aimed at strengthening the skills, capabilities and resources of its members. It promotes and institutionalizes linkages among the Cebu Business Community with local, national, regional and international organizations and initiates and influences economic development plans of the government. In the broader perspective, the impetus of the Cebu Chamber makes the community a better place for everyone to live and work.

CCCI is a non-stock, non-profit organization of businessmen, merchants, professionals and entrepreneurs based in Cebu. It envisions itself to be the engine of Cebu’s economic growth. The Cebu Chamber was founded in 1913 and registered with SEC on June 15, 1921. Cebu Chamber has evolved from an organization concerned with port activities to that of becoming the premier voice of business in Cebu. In 1997 and again in 2007, CCCI was a recipient of the Hall of Fame Award from the prestigious Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry for having earned the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Philippines Award for two consecutive years.

Membership with the Cebu Chamber has enabled it to advance and protect the interests of the Cebuano business community thru numerous programs, studies, researches, advocacies, networking, direct matching, seminars, trainings, certifications and other similar services/endeavors. Over the years, your Chamber has proven its loyalty to none but the Cebuano business community.

To date, the Cebu Chamber has launched several programs such as the: “Member-Get-Member-Program.” As a member, you are encouraged to invite/recruit a prospect company or companies for membership. In return, you will be given a discount fee from the annual dues of the company (ies) to be recruited- not bad huh! The program was launched in September 30, 2004. A discount of P500 will also be granted to the new member-companies, which will be recruited under the program.

Furthermore, membership has enabled the Chamber to advance and protect the interests of the Cebuano business community thru numerous programs, studies, researches, advocacies, networking, direct matching, seminars, trainings, certifications and other similar services/endeavors. Over the years, your Chamber has proven its loyalty to none but the Cebuano business community.

Finally, the Cebu Chamber believes that with everybody’s cooperation, it can enhance the value of being a Chamber member, acknowledge the participating member’s line of business, and encourage patronage of its products and/or services by its fellow member-companies/organizations.
