In a press conference held recently, Joseph L. Ang, president of Worldbex Services International (WSI), Asia’s organizer of leading events in the nation showcased their three string of shows slated this coming May at the Cebu International Convention Center that will gather around 300 exhibitors from Manila as well as some parts of the world.
Ang said that the 6th Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (Philbex 2008), the 3rd Cebu Auto Show (CAS) and the first Cebu Food and Beverage Expo (Cefbex 2008) will be providing another big venue for traders and investors from all over the region to meet with suppliers and potential clients from all over the country as well as those from other countries.

The 3rd Cebu Auto Show, on the other hand, seeks to entice Cebuano automobile enthusiast as brand new cars, auto parts, accessories and other motor-related products and services will be featured in the trade booths. New brands from
Meanwhile, the first Cefbex will present latest thrills in the food and beverage industry that are deemed to be participated by the best traders, manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters and consultants of the food and beverage sector. It would highlight the culinary competition that will feature the best chefs from different parts of the world.
“We try to always come out with character and not give only plain shows because we have been in the market for 30 years. Our capabilities can be assessed through the world-class shows we’ve done in the past,” said Ang contradicting spurring rumors that the show will not materialize as expected.
Aside from the three shows this May, Worldbex would also be organizing this year the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (Mafbex) this June as well as the World of Malaysia in July, World of China in October and the grandest Christmas bazaar dubbed as the World Bazaar Festival on December.
