Mandaue City holds trade and food fair

Unlike the previous years, Mandaue City will celebrate most of its fiesta activities at the Mandaue City Sports Complex.  This is to renew and cultivate stronger links to culture, sports and the rich traditions of Mandaue’s people. 

This year’s fiesta committee is chaired by Dr. Susana Cabahug of the Mandaue City College and the CHEST FOUNDATION.

Among the events featured in this year’s celebration is the continuation of the vibrant Mantawi Festival. The Mardi Gras will take on a different shape under the artistic direction of Mandaue’s Jugene Pascual. A trade fair will also showcase various products of the city at the right wing of the sports complex grounds. The fair will open from April 15 to May 15 with invited locators as well.

Meanwhile, the Miss Mandaue Pageant will stage a contest of wit and beauty.

Mandaue, the city where business is a pleasure will soon face up to the new challenges its time.
