While the entire spa and wellness industry in Cebu evolved into something that is for the whole family, D’che Spa Salon on the other hand pioneers a Kid’s Spa service, providing services for children aging 12 years old and below.
Starting next month, the three outlets of D’che Spa Salon located at the Sykes building, Consolacion and Lilo-an will start offering kiddie spa services, said D’che Spa proprietress Armida A. Rabilas.
“We noticed that Spa services have also attracted the children, so we are formulating services intended for this emerging market—children,” Armida said.
Using all-natural ingredients, children will soon be able to avail of the health and wellness services like massage, facial, sauna, manicure and pedicure, haircut, among others.
The Spa for children package will also highlight the offering of D’che’s Kiddie Spa Party. In this way, children’s party options will not only be limited to traditional concepts, but now children can enjoy Spa services while having fun.
Aside from the local clients that are usually bringing their children while availing of Spa services, Armida said Japanese and Korean tourists are also demanding for this kind of service for their children.
Specialized Spa and wellness services for children will be priced lower than the regular charges, and service offerings will be packaged in such a way that it could attract the children market, she added.
D’che Spa Salon which started its operations in 2005 just recently opened for franchise package, with the opening of its first franchisee-operated outlet in Lilo-an owned by Darwin and Lee Marie Apas.
According to Armida, D’che will continually offer innovative services for Spa and will also penetrate the untapped countryside market.
Aside from the Kiddie Spa service, D’ Che Spa and Salon will also embark on a Mobile Van—Spa service, this will bring Spa and Wellness services closer to the market, like going to subdivisions and to far-flung areas in the province.
“Through our Mobile Van Spa Service concept, we will be able to gauge the readiness of the Spa and Wellness market in the countryside. Based on the mobile spa performance, we will know if a certain town or location is ready for this service,” she added.
D’Che is a one-stop-shop wellness center that offers services from beauty treatments, spa and other wellness service offerings.
Although the Cebu market is already flooded with Spa and wellness centers, Armida is confident that D’Che is going to sustain its name in the industry and thrive through its one-stop-shop wellness concept and pioneering services. — Ehda M. Dagooc
