Hotelink Resorts forge deal with Microtel Inns

Hotelink Resorts and Hotels Inc., led by tourism prime mover Patrick C. Gregorio has inked alliance deal with Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas), Inc. and Paramount Property Management Company to strengthen the two hotel brand names in the Philippines.
"The partnership will bring Microtel and Paramount's managed properties to 18, including Hotelink's three managed properties-the Sylvia Manor in Bacolod City, Del Rio Hotel in Iloilo City, and Amarela Resort in Panglao, Bohol," said Gregorio.
Gregorio, who is the founding chairman of Cebu Visitors and Convention Bureau (CVCB), and formerly the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Waterfront Philippines Inc., said Microtel and Paramount properties will soon enter Cebu in the next few months.
Gregorio said that Hotelink's alliance with Microtel and Paramount wherein he sits as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for both, will "strengthen the position of Microtel & Paramount as a top-of-mind brand in the hotel industry. This is a perfect match that is long overdue."
Gregorio will spearhead Microtel and Paramount's marketing efforts to boost the managed properties' occupancies/ revenues, seek out new franchisees for Microtel and obtain more management contracts for Paramount.
Microtel is the hospitality arm of the Phinma Group. It was established in 1997, incorporated in the state of New York, USA as private company.
On the other hand, Paramount Property Management specializes in property management though it also covers the full range of expertise in all areas of the hospitality industry, including hotel management, food & beverage operations and restaurant franchising.
Paramount was established in 1998 as the first all-Filipino property management company to introduce internationally accepted hospitality industry standards to the local property market. Its principal stockholders are PHINMA, Inc. and Emar Corp., corporations with extensive interests in education, energy, property development, steel manufacturing and investment banking among others.
Recently, Microtel, opened the first international chain hotel in Boracay called Microtel Inn and Suites.
