Data storage solutions for SMEs within reach

Intel Microelectronics Philippines, Inc. has introduced affordable data storage solutions for small and medium businesses, as well as small-office, home -office (SOHO) end-users in Cebu to help cost-conscious consumers maximize their data management.
During the PC Magazine & Intel How-To Roadshow held at Cebu City Marriott Hotel recently, Intel Microelectronics Philippines marketing manager Jerome G. Matti introduced, Intel's storage solution product that is primarily designed for small and medium businesses, including home users.
Excluding hard disks, the data storage solution is only pegged at P39,350, which has 2-TB memory storage capacity.
He said the Intel Entry Storage System, which has options like Network Attached Storage, and Storage Area Network (SAN) is designed to equip SMEs and home users to be technically proficient.
A team of Intel technology experts together with PC Magazine group were here in Cebu to hold the highly informative "how-to" road show providing the market updated information on maximizing the technology in various cost effective ways.
Intel's new storage solution was one of the products that was highlighted during the show, recognizing that majority of Cebu-based businesses are classified as SMEs.
Also, Matti said there are also a number of technology-savvy home users that need effective, but cost efficient data storage solutions to protect very important data and documents.
The How-To RoadShow of Intel and PC Magazine is a highly informative series of seminars that serve to address the information technology needs of the SME sector.
The one day event held discussions specifically designed for the busy CEO or business owner who would want to learn about the latest computer-based technologies, as well as how these can improve enterprise productivity.
