AviaTours, the first full-service fixed-base operator (FBO) in the country, officially opens today to serve the needs of businessmen and travelers to fly on a chartered plane to various destinations around the country.
With AviaTours, tourists, local or foreign, will have the convenience of flying at their own pace, their own time and at their own leisure.
The company has a fleet of 12 aircrafts - Cessnas and Beeches manned by seasoned pilots for aerial tours and take people to their destinations.
"We are a one-stop aviation services and products shop. Having been certified by the Air Transportation Office (ATO) and the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), we now offer aircraft charters, aerial sight-seeing tours, aerial photography services, sky jumping services and air ambulance services," related AviaTours President and CEO, Captain Jessup Bahinting.
More than that, AviaTours also offers basic and flight training courses to flying enthusiasts. "As a flying school as well, we usher pilots and students who want to pursue flying as a career. We have the necessary facilities and experience to aide us in the training," Bahinting added.
As an FBO, they also offer maintenance and servicing to private aircrafts like fueling, oil dispensing, hangar storage, avionics and instrument service, aircraft cleaning and aircraft towing among others. Furthermore, AviaTours also facilitates aircraft parts, supplies and sales.
For private foreign aircrafts, who wish to land in any Philippine airport, AviaTours can also assist in the application and acquisition of the necessary government documents and permits and clearances.
For private planes originating from the country that wish to land on other destinations outside the country, they also coordinate with the destination's authorities for the flight and landing requirements.
Moreover, they also help facilitate car rentals and charters, catering, hotel reservations, and flight planning.
For more information about what AviaTours offers, you may visit their hangar at the General Aviation Area of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Lapu-lapu City. You may also call them at telephone numbers (032) 341-2268.
