Ma. Luisa Properties' subsidiary company D'Logo Development Inc. will formally introduce its 7.2 hectare middle-range residential project in the Southern part of Cebu in Carcar.
Dancing Sun Subdivision is the first residential project under the Ma. Luisa Properties that is situated in the southern part of the province. Most of the company's developments are built in Cebu's northern areas.
According to D'Logo Development Inc. general manager Annabelle Osmeña-Aboitiz the project was conceptualized because of the project increase of housing demand for middle-income earners in the southern part of Cebu, especially with the establishment of the South Road Properties (SRP), and access provided by the coastal road.
The P20 million residential project by the Ma. Luisa Properties, Dancing Sun, was initially positioned as a low cost housing facility, however, according to Aboitiz, the HLURB upgraded the classification of the project because the quality and the amenities are equivalent to that of developments classified for middle-range market.
According to Aboitiz, the company D'Logo with its umbrella organization Maria Luisa Properties, both placed strengths and resources to conceptualized Dancing Sun Subdivision.
This will be the first well-planned subdivision in Carcar, drawn on a Filipino-Mediterranean inspired architectural theme in whole harmony with a culturally rich heritage of the locale, Aboitiz said.
About 70 percent of the 7.2-hectare land is utilized for lots and housing units while 30 percent is directed to open space which comprises the roads, entrance garden, playgrounds, mini parks, clubhouse, basketball court and greenery.
The subdivision's house and lot package is pegged at an average cost of P1.8 million. It also offers lot only package with affordable per square meter cost.
The entire project will offer 600 available lots, in the phase 1, 2 and 3 development. Phase 1 has over 200 available lots, Aboitiz added.
Dancing Sun Subdivision will be formally launched come November 19, 2005.
