Canada is not just a great place to live in, but also a fertile foreign destination for investments and budding market to penetrate.

A Filipina Canadian business immigration consultant lawyer Josephine Tañada Yam was recently here in Cebu to orient businessmen on the great investment prospects in Canada while maintaining operations in the Philippines at the same time.

In Canada's era of migration, Yam said that businessmen and entrepreneurs must take advantage of the robust economic growth in Canada, and now is the time to start doing trade partnership in that country.

Yam presented the attractive Canadian Investment Program to allow successful business persons to benefit from the robust economic growth in the country, while getting the superior workforce pool.

Through Canada's brain-gain effort boosted by its friendly migration processes inviting professionals around the world to migrate in Canada, the country is now one of the sources of superior personnel pool around the world.

Canada, which has also the largest number of Asian immigrants including Filipinos, can also be a good market for Cebuanos to aggressively enter into.

Already, some Chinese and Indian businessmen have established their companies, mostly offering offshore services around the world, and getting the superior employee base who are mostly Asians.

Currently, there are about 500,000 Filipinos who are working, doing business and living in Canada.
