MANILA, Philippines – Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) using the Libon app can now take advantage of cheaper calls through Globe Telecom’s promo.

Globe Telecom's International Business Group has partnered with France-based telecommunications operator Orange to launch the new Libon Out "Philippines with Globe" package offer.

Filipinos from around the world using the Libon app—an all-in-one communication application for iPhone and Android that provides free unlimited Libon to Libon HD calls, chats and voicemail to a variety of international destinations—can enjoy a "Libon Out” package for only $25.99, inclusive of 1,000 minutes of calls or P1.30 per minute rate to any Globe and TM number in the Philippines.

From August 26 to Sept. 9, 2015, customers who register to the Libon app will also enjoy free 100 minutes of calls to Globe and TM numbers in the Philippines to celebrate the partnership.

Using the "Philippines with Globe" package, the Libon user only needs a data connection to make and receive international calls. All calls from the Libon app to any Globe or TM number in the Philippines will connect and provide quality calling services, an advantage to OFWs whose relatives in the Philippines do not have access to a smartphone with data.

To start enjoying the “Philippines with Globe” offer, customers just need to open the Libon app and from the side menu, tap their avatar at the top of the screen, and access their “Libon Account” details.

They can then purchase “Libon Out minutes” by selecting the “Philippines with Globe” package and pressing continue to validate their choice.

The billing method must be confirmed and once Google Play or App Store password is encoded, customers will then receive an email regarding confirmation of their purchase. The credits will be automatically added to their Libon account.

More details about the process can be found at www.Libon.com/Globe.

The International Business Group of Globe Telecom aims to provide Overseas Filipinos with different means to call their family and friends in the Philippines with the lowest rates possible.
