MANILA, Philippines - Leading international mobile device manufacturer Skyworth has kicked off the release of its latest tablet PC, S91, together with Kapamilya actress and Maria Mercedes lead star Jessy Mendiola.
As the latest addition to Skyworth’s global brand ambassadors, the ABS-CBN star is set to work on various Skyworth stints, including the launch of the S91.
The launch also made available a free limited edition Maria Mercedes tablet cover with every purchase of the S91.
Maria Mercedes is a remake of the popular 90s Mexican soap that starred Mexican actress Thalia.
The S91 was designed and manufactured by Skyworth Shenzhen, a China-grown electronics maker best known for networking devices and electronics for over 25 years. The company successfully sold over 10 million LED TVs worldwide in 2012 alone.
Skyworth’s latest tablet PC is fully compliant with international standards and is CE- and ROHS-certified. It will be distributed in the Philippines exclusively by RedDot Philippines, an honoree in the 2012 Skyworth Distributor Convention held in China.

Included in the S91’s extensive lineup of cool features are a 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor and 1GB DDR3 RAM, both ensuring fast and smooth processing performance.
This outstanding performance translates graphically to a nine-inch full HD LED screen that delivers crisp images taken through the rear-mounted 2.0-megapixel camera, or the VGA camera in front.
The S91 operates on Android 4.2 Jellybean so users can download hundreds of thousands of fun applications from Google Playstore.
Up to 8GB of applications and data can be stored in the tablet’s internal memory, with an option for additional 32GB using a micro SD card.
At only 550 grams and 10-mm thick, S91 is incredibly compact and lightweight. Coupled with a heavy-duty 4500mAh battery, Wi-Fi-capability and a USB 2.0 slot for 3G and wireless Internet dongles, the S91 is indeed the perfect mobile companion on the go.
The Skyworth S91 is available in the Philippines for P6,995.
