Nokia forecasts a downpour of Ovi themes

MANILA, Philippines - Nokia, the world’s number 1 mobile phone brand, is expecting an outpour of refreshing works of art as it revitalizes Ovi Theme-spirations in time for the rainy season.

Create your own theme designs for Nokia mobile phones by joining “Ovi Theme-spirations 4: It’s Raining Themes” and win great prizes.

The latest challenge of Nokia’s online contest is for participants to send their original photos or artwork that centers on the rainy or wet season theme.

Create themes with elements of rain, water and fun; capture the romantic mood of the season; or chill out with relaxing shades of the weather.

If you’re a local resident and at least 15 years old, you can submit your “Ovi Theme-spirations 4” entry until June 19.

Make sure that your background image file format is in jpeg, gif, or bmp file and has a maximum size of 500kb.

Submit your entries together with your full name, e-mail address, home address, mobile number and birth date via e-mail to themespirations@ovi.com.

A total of 10 finalists will be chosen. Five finalists will be picked every selection date, which is scheduled on June 6 and June 20.

All participants whose entries are selected will automatically win P10,000 each.

Chosen theme entries will be converted to theme files and will be made available in the Nokia Ovi Store for download using Nokia mobile phones with Symbian, S40 and S60 operating systems until Dec. 31. Only downloads from July 16 to Aug. 31 will be valid for the final tally.

Three grand prize winners will be announced on Sept. 8 on the Nokia website. The winners will receive P25,000 and a Nokia C7 each.

Entries will be judged according to originality, creativity, and faithfulness to the rainy season theme.
