No Wi-Fi? Go places with iPad powered by Smart Bro

MANILA, Philippines - Undoubtedly the iPad is one of the hottest gadgets to hit the computing world in recent years, attesting to the capabilities of the tablet category.

Of course, it works best with Internet connectivity. But what if Wi-Fi is spotty or not available?

No problem, says iPad user Ramon Lopez, executive director of the entrepreneurial advocacy group GoNegosyo. He chose to power his iPad 3G with a MicroSIM from Smart Bro, the wireless Internet service of Smart Broadband Inc.

“With the widest and strongest coverage for wireless broadband and 3G service, Smart is reliable,” Lopez says, adding, “and I pay a reasonable monthly fee for unlimited use of broadband.”

For only P999 a month, the Smart Bro postpaid MicroSIM gives users of the iPad 3G models unlimited access to the Internet from virtually anywhere in the Philippines, even in places with no available Wi-Fi signal.

“I am able to work on materials I need to review anywhere. I can reply to e-mails quickly, which most of the time have deadlines. Several times, I’ve used the Bloomberg app and it allowed me to make timely buying or selling of stocks,” Lopez says.

The iPad, combined with his Smart Bro MicroSIM, is the perfect tool for surfing, research, and idea generation, anywhere, anytime.

The Smart Bro MicroSIM is also available in prepaid, allowing subscribers to pick the unlimited surfing package of their choice, whether daily, weekly or monthly.

For users of iPad models without the MicroSIM slot, they can still enjoy the same Smart Bro-powered mobility with the Smart Bro Pocket Wi-Fi that turns any spot into an instant Wi-Fi zone.

Both the Smart Bro MicroSIM and the Smart Bro Pocket Wi-Fi are available in all Smart Wireless Centers nationwide.
