De La Salle schools renew IP deal with Prime Communications

MANILA, Philippines - Prime Communications has renewed the contract to provide Internet connectivity to seven De La Salle schools for another year.

It now serves De La Salle University-Manila, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle-Araneta University, De La Salle-Lipa, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, La Salle Greenhills, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.

Prime Communications began servicing De La Salle-Lipa in 2004, and its service expanded to other schools last year.

The DLSP’s Central Procurement Office organized the bidding last year where Prime Communications first participated and won the bid for majority of the requirements of various DLS schools.

Upon evaluation of Prime Communications’ performance against the strict service level agreements, the DLS decided to renew its contract for another year.

“We unanimously agreed to renew Prime Communications as the provider of IP services to seven of our schools because of their top-rate service to us over the past year,” said Dr. Carmelita Quebengco, AFSC, executive vice president of DLSP.

“Further proof of the confidence we place on Prime Communications is the additional bandwidth that we are getting from them this year,” added Quebengco.

“This renewal of trust is proof that we are truly able to bring service, first-rate and foremost, to our clients. The entire Prime organization has been working single-mindedly in delivering premium quality customer service which sets us apart from other providers,” said Prime Communications president Jojie Yap.
