Sony Ericsson has announced the K630i, a stylish all-rounder, fully packed phone with all the features needed for managing work life as well as one’s favorite pictures, video and music.
The new Sony Ericsson K630i keeps the user in control, fully informed and entertained at all times. Powered by HSDPA, it delivers a mobile Web surfing experience in a pocket-sized frame.
Pre-loading of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync gives the user the possibility to mirror his PC/laptop inbox, look out for urgent e-mails and write quick responses.
Add to this the user’s desktop widgets, animated icons that sit on a phone’s desktop and give one press access to his favorite websites, and it’s easy to see how the K630i brings the Web into one’s phone.
RSS Feeds can even be set up to keep the user up-to-date with the latest news, weather and entertainment.
Available in two trendy colors — Havana Gold and Quick Black — the K630i combines quality materials and classy finishing with a compact sturdy feel. Its unique glossy gold or red side trim also adds to the subtle elegance of the phone.
You never know when you might need to snap a picture, so the K630i’s 2.0-megapixel camera is always on-hand to shoot still pictures or moving images. Share these instantly with friends via MMS, e-mail or postcard or by uploading them to one’s own online gallery, or blogsite. Share the Web address with friends and family to instantly give them access to all your latest photos or video clips.
The K630i also provides a true music experience. It comes with 256MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) in-box and supports up to four gigabytes — that’s up to 3,600 full-length tracks.
That sounds like a lot, but the K630i’s Mobile Broadband (HSDPA) capability means it only takes about 14 seconds to download a full-length music track, up to four times faster than average on a regular 3G phone.
To make things easier still, the K630i features a dedicated music key to help the user navigate through all of those songs. The user can also enjoy his music through the quality external speaker on the phone.
The built-in Media Browser gives the user the convenience of having just one location on the K630i’s menu to launch the music player, video player or photo gallery to access all of the user’s in-phone media content.
The K630i comes complete with new Media Manager software in-box to let the user easily move his favorite music, photos, videos and more between your PC and his phone. Music tracks or video clips will be automatically converted into phone-friendly formats and creating playlists or adding album artwork to one’s tracks is simple.
“The K630i gives you more time to do the things you really want to,” said Chris Lee, Sony Ericsson’s vice president for marketing for the Asia-Pacific.
“And it is also the perfect communication and lifestyle tool that provides high-speed HSDPA connectivity and media downloads, coupled with great looks for making a stylish impact,” Lee added.
