Pacific joins prepaid card mart

Pacific Internet Phils., the country’s leading and only regional Internet solutions provider (ISP), is launching a promotion for its prepaid card whose superior features are seen to decisively beat the competition in this fast-growing market.

This in line with Pacific Internet’s strategy to dominate and lead the ISP industry in all sectors.

Branded as Pacific Speedsurf, this prepaid card offers an affordable but quality Internet access package, with superior features and packaging.

"For teens and young adults who love their independent lifestyle and prefer the flexibility and anxiety-free features of a prepaid Net card, Pacific Speedsurf provides them with worry-free access to infinite adventures on the Net," said Pacific Internet president Jojie Yap.

Pacific Speedsurf is targeted at current and first-time prepaid card users who want to control Internet expense and usage, and avoid the many hassles in application, activation and set-up of accounts and monthly billings.

Speedsurf will provide every user with one-megabyte Web space, a personal e-mail address, mailbox space of 2MB, and 60-day account termination/expiration after initial log-in or until free hours stated on the card are used up, whichever comes first.

E-mail address termination or expiration is also 60 days after creation or renewal, according to Pacific Internet vice president Manny Escosa.

To boost the sale of Speedsurf, Pacific Internet has launched the "Scratch a Palm" promo, which runs up to Oct. 31. For every purchase of Speedsurf, a customer gets a scratch card to win a Palm m100, t-shirt, mouse pad, or bonus hours. Speedsurf is available at all Pacific Internet dealer stores.
