Arnova fires up tablet market with new models

MANILA, Philippines - With more and more people accustomed to using tablets, Arnova is introducing several new models in its tablet line, aimed at the basic entry-level user to the power business user.

Coming from the same pedigree that made the Arnova G2 series a success, the new Arnova G3 Android tablets were created to ensure optimum performance. There are now four models to choose from, each one catering to specific market segments and uses, thus ensuring the best choice for the discerning user.

The new models also utilize Google’s latest Android operating system, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, that has been designed from the ground up to provide the best performing graphics user interface on any tablet screen size and device.

Multimedia playback has also been enhanced in the new G3 series, allowing all of the models to play full high definition videos.

Among other features included in the new models are Wi-Fi connectivity, front-facing cameras and microphones for video calls, speakers and G-sensors for easy shifting from landscape to portrait view as the user sees fit.

What’s more, all of the new Arnova models have 3G capabilities via an optional USB dongle, allowing them to connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere.

Arnova 8 G3

The Arnova 7d G3 is the new entry-level model of the Arnova G3 series. Sporting a seven-inch capacitive multi-touch with 800 x 400 screen resolution, a processor power of one gigahertz (GHz) and a one gigabyte (GB) memory, this model can handle day-to-day task.

Nevertheless, the Arnova 7d G3 provides great multimedia experience as it comes with a 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through a micro SDHC slot.

Electronic book lovers can enjoy reading their favorite titles using the Arnova 8 G3. Also powered by 1 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM, the Arnova 8 G3’s wider eight-inch screen size that has an 800 x 600 resolution makes it ideal for viewing websites and e-books, comics, and digital magazines. It also has an 8GB internal memory capacity that can be expanded to 32GB also through a micro SDHC slot.

Next in the lineup is the Arnova 9 G3, which sports a 9.7-inch LCD that boasts the largest aspect ratio among other tablets. With a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, photos and videos are shown in crisp and clear colors.

It also utilizes a 1 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 4GB internal memory capacity, which can be expanded to 32 GB using a micro SDHC slot.

Another of Arnova’s flagship models is the Arnova 10b G3, which has a 10.1-inch capacitive screen with 1024 x 600 screen resolution. Also running a powerhouse 1 GHz processor, it features an HD-ready 720p camera that allows for better video calls and photos.

With the new models now coming to the Philippines, Arnova is keen on expanding its market in the country and strengthening its position as an invaluable choice for the discerning tablet user.
