MANILA, Philippines - Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., the country’s premiere homebuilder, continues to expand Savannah City, its flagship development in Iloilo City, to include a City Center to address greater demand of its growing population.
“There are approximately 8,000 to 10,000 residents in Savannah City, increasing at an average of 10 percent yearly. It is, then, our role to expand our boundaries and integrate various developments in our community to connect our residents to everything they need, letting them enjoy an upgraded and balanced lifestyle they truly deserve,” said Pam Gako, Camella operating head for Visayas.
The City Center will have BPO offices, malls, hotels, event places, amusement parks and country clubs, and even hospitals and churches with columbarium.
“The City Center is designed to encourage residents to partake in outdoor recreation, and socialize with other members of the community. It will foster neighborliness by providing various opportunities for interaction among the residents of the community,” added Gako.
Savannah City has also increased its home offerings in response to the growing demand for more compact homes, as well as more expansive ones. It recently offered the newest house design collection of Camella – the Grande series to meet the demands of bigger families or those who prefer to live with more latitude to grow. The Grande Series is a line of homes going from P4 million to P8 million, and floor areas ranging from 125 to 200 square meters.
Vista Land also plans to put high-end lot-only enclave with lot sizes from 500 to 1,000 sqm.
“Aside from being an ideal home for end-users, Savannah City is also the perfect place for lot-only investors, investors reselling their home and investors in the business of renting out homes. Our property prices escalate at 5 percent -10 percent yearly, giving our investors a high rate of return on their investment,” explained Gako.
Savannah City is masterplanned with several facilities and amenities such as five clubhouses with swimming pools, four basketball courts, a tennis court, jogging and biking paths, and numerous gazebos, parks and children’s playground, that amazingly deck its five beautifully developed residential enclaves – The Crest, The Trails, The Glades, The Orchard and The Glen. It also guarantees its homeowners’ safety with guarded entrance gates equipped with CCTV, as well as high perimeter fences, and round-the-clock roving security guards.
For the residents’ comfort and convenience, Savannah City has 11 internal shuttles, plying all over the enclaves, and four external shuttles, traveling to and from Savannah to different points in Iloilo City.
Savannah City, spanning more than 500 hectares, strategically spread over Oton, Pavia and San Miguel in Panay Island, is close to University of the Philippines Visayas, Central Philippine University, University of San Agustin and West Visayas University; as well as commercial centers. For its residents’ security, it is also few minutes away from hospitals like Western Visayas Medical Center and The Medical City Iloilo.
Moreover, Savannah City was the venue of Light of Peace in the Philippines 2014, wherein a new world record of largest flaming image map of the Philippines was formed using 56,680 candles.
