MANILA, Philippines - Unlike a decade ago when their choices were limited to the Makati and Ortigas commercial business districts (CBDs), corporations can now choose to locate their offices in any of at least 19 business districts in Metro Manila.

For Results Manila, a business process outsourcing center, Bonifacio Global City emerged as the top choice after careful deliberation. The customer contact solutions provider for many Fortune 500 companies recently leased out two floors and a ground floor recruitment space from W Office Tower set for completion in the first quarter of 2011.

Ben Block, Results Manila president, explains that in addition to advantages the former military camp shares with the Makati and Ortigas CBDs, W Office Tower’s location makes it accessible to potential call center agents who live in the southern, northern as well as eastern areas of the metropolis. “Easy access to work increases recruiting potential and employee retention,” he explains.

Sheila Lobien, associate director of Jones Lang LaSalle Leechiu, discloses that there is keen demand for office spaces in the emerging business district. Jones Lang LaSalle is a global services firm specializing in real estate and operating in 60 countries.

In the Philippines, it operates as Jones Lang LaSalle Leechiu (JLLL).

Months before its scheduled completion, W Office, which is exclusively marketed by JLLL, is already 51 percent taken up, according to Lobien.
