Eastwood City Cyberpark still strong

MANILA, Philippines - Eastwood City Cyberpark will continue to be a major growth engine for the outsourcing and offshoring (O&O) sector even in these challenging times with the opening of two new business process outsourcing (BPO) buildings inside the country’s pioneering ICT enclave this year.

Megaworld Corp., which is credited for having the vision that propelled the domestic O&O sector to its current positioning through the pioneering development of the Eastwood City Cyberpark, announced that the 20-storey Global One Center and the 10-storey 1880 Eastwood Ave. will be ready to host BPO firms within the year.

Jericho Go, Megaworld FVP for business development, said the two new buildings will increase Eastwood City’s office space inventory by approximately 70,000 square meters, thus assuring the BPO industry more room for expansion.

“Eastwood City Cyberpark started the wave of BPO projects in the country and we are not letting up with our developments so as to assure the industry that it will have a steady stream of reliable and topnotch office spaces,” Go declared.

Megaworld Corp. set aside P1.5 billion for the development of the Global One Center, which offers an additional 34,000 square meters of prime office space.
